1. Entertainment purposes only

PalmBot provides AI-generated palm readings strictly for entertainment purposes. Readings are not factual statements, predictions, or guidance of any kind. Nothing on this site constitutes medical, psychological, legal, financial, or professional advice, and you should not make decisions based on your reading. If you need professional advice, consult a qualified professional.

2. The service

You submit a photograph of your palm; an artificial-intelligence system (Google Gemini) analyzes the image and generates a written reading, delivered to you as a PDF report. Results are creative, generated content and will vary between readings, even of the same palm.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to purchase a report.

4. Payments & refunds

The full report is a one-time digital purchase at the price displayed at checkout. Displayed discounts compare against our standard list price. As a digital good delivered immediately, purchases are non-refundable once the report has been generated, except where required by law. If a technical failure prevents delivery of your report, contact us at hello@hand-reader.com and we will regenerate it or refund you.

5. Your photo & personal data (Privacy Policy)

What we collect and why:

• Palm photo: held temporarily in memory to generate your reading and sent to Google's Gemini API for analysis (subject to Google's API terms). Photos are never stored in our database, never sold, and are automatically discarded within approximately 30 minutes.
• Your details: the name, date of birth, time of birth, place of birth, and email address you enter are stored in our database, together with your star sign and the status of your reading. We use these to generate your reading, deliver your report, recognise you if you return, and — with your consent — send occasional offers (unsubscribe anytime).
• Your report: emailed to you as a PDF attachment and kept securely for up to 30 days so we can re-deliver it if anything goes wrong, after which it is automatically deleted.
• Friends you refer: if you use our referral program, the email addresses you provide are used to send each friend a single invitation on your behalf, with an unsubscribe link. We never send them further emails unless they use the service themselves, and each address can only ever be invited once.

Promotional emails: occasional offers we send you (such as referral rewards) always include an unsubscribe link; one click stops all future promotional email. Report-delivery emails are transactional and are always sent.

Who processes your data on our behalf: Google (Gemini API — palm photo analysis), Neon (database hosting, AWS Sydney region), Resend (email delivery of your report), Render (website hosting), and Stripe (payment processing — your card details go directly to Stripe and are never seen or stored by us). We never sell your personal data to third parties.

Your rights: you can ask us to show, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you at any time — email hello@hand-reader.com and we will action it promptly.

6. Cookie Policy

We use a small number of strictly necessary cookies and local storage entries:

• palmbot_cookie_consent — records that you accepted cookies (1 year).
• palmbot_consent_v1 (local storage) — records your agreement to these terms.

We do not currently use advertising or third-party analytics cookies. If that changes, we will ask for your consent again.

7. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the service or reliance on any reading. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for your report.

8. Acceptable use

Only submit photographs of your own hand, or a hand you have permission to submit. Do not submit unlawful, harmful, or unrelated images.

9. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time; the "Last updated" date above reflects the current version. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
